Bites, ‘Bots & Beer is the social event of the season for the technology community. Join the Council and mingle with Arizona’s technology and business leaders while creating and racing “Build-a-Bots” at this interactive networking event.
What: Bites, ‘Bots & Beer
When: Thursday, April 16, 2009 | 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: Scottsdale Hilton Resort & Villas | 6333 North Scottsdale Road | Scottsdale, AZ 85250
Cost: Early Registration, $40 | Day of the Event, $50 | Student Price, $30
Cost includes two drink tickets (must be 21) and appetizers.
The Bottom Line: Build and race the “Build-a-Bots” that are provided courtesy of Microchip Technologies. Network with technologists, industry leaders, and other business professionals. 100% of net proceeds will be donated to the FIRST Robotics teachers who volunteer nights and weekends to help Arizona’s students excel in the world of robotics.

How Much will it cost to build the Bots?
Many people in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tempe and the rest of Arizona would like to know how much will it cost to battle with the bots. Well if you are a member of the Arizona Technology Council (www.aztechcouncil.org Why wouldn’t you) it will cost $40 if you sign up early. If you wait, like I always do, it will cost $50. For those of you who are not members- bring your first child and we can talk. Just kidding. We will have those figures shortly.
They approved the robots
Yea! The Arizona Technology Council and First Robotics will host a party for 10 robots. The Robots will coming to Phoenix Az. Save the date April 16, 2009. Bring your coin to power the botz!
